Important Information for Authors

IEEE and IEEE Communications Society Policies and Procedures

Authors of Technical Papers

To be published in the IEEE WCNC 2014 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the Full or Limited (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one Full or Limited Registration is valid for up to 3 papers. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Main Conference Authors must register by 19 January 2014.

Workshop Authors

To be published in the IEEE WCNC 2014 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to have a non-refundable registration for the workshop that their paper is accepted in.  The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the Conference Workshop Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions. (For IEEE WCNC 2014 this is Raouf Boutaba)  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one Workshop registration is required for each paper.   Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Workshop Authors must register by 26 January 2014

Registration rates will be charged in US dollars. The Euro/USD conversion will be updated approximately every 30 days. US rate and conversion information is posted on the fee page of the Registration application.

Cancellation Policy:  All refund/cancellation requests must be submitted by 7 March 2014. Cancellations will incur a US$100 administrative fee.  No refunds can be provided after this date. Please submit cancellation requests via email to WCNCreg@ieee.org.
