Guidelines for Workshop Final Paper Submission

Final versions of accepted papers must be uploaded to EDAS for inclusion in the conference proceedings and to be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Deadline: 26 January 2014

IEEE and IEEE Communications Society Policies

To ensure appropriate consideration of conflicts of interest during the review process, the ComSoc prohibits changes to the list of authors once a paper has been submitted for review during review, revision, or (if accepted) final publication.

To be published in the IEEE WCNC 2014 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to have a non-refundable registration for the workshop that their paper is accepted in. The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the Conference Workshop Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions. (For IEEE WCNC 2014 this is Raouf Boutaba) Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one Workshop registration is required for each paper. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Revise your Paper

Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. When you are done with the revision, please print out your paper and carefully proof read it. Review formatting requirements can be found at:

IEEE PDF eXpress

Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your paper is Xplore compatible. Click for PDF eXpress instructions.

Register for the Conference

The presenting author must register to the workshop before submitting the final paper. For multiple paper presentations, one author registration is valid for up to three papers. The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the Conference Workshop Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions (See full author policy above).

For conference registration, please go to the Registration page of the IEEE WCNC 2014 website www.ieee-WCNC.org/2014 and follow the instructions.  After completing your registration you will receive a confirmation email. Please use your 11 character confirmation number to upload your paper. Write this number down, you will need to use it to upload your paper into EDAS.

Submit your Paper

Your final paper must be submitted no later than 28 January 2014 in order to be included in the conference workshop proceedings. Please go to EDAS, click on the “My Papers” button, and then upload your paper on the link provided. DO NOT go to Papers/Submit paper, since you will not find IEEE WCNC 2014 or your Workshop there.

If you experience any problems during the upload process of your paper on EDAS, please contact help@edas-help.com.

IEEE Copyright Form

Before you upload your camera-ready paper, you will need to submit your IEEE copyright form using the IEEE electronic copyright mechanism. Please follow the link provided on the paper submission page.
